On Sunday 9th February 2014, the Lions Club Yvelines Heraldic will be running a Charity Gala Evening for a performance of the “Calendar Girls” by the International Players at the Le Pecq Theatre. Profits will go to “Imagine for Margo”, a children’s cancer research charity based in Fourqueux.
“Calendar Girls” is based on a true story, the play is poignant, quirky and above all, very funny!
« To raise money for the local hospital, the ladies of a Women’s Institute in Yorkshire decide to produce an ‘alternative’ calendar – posing in the nude, although very discreetly. The calendar is a huge success but the resulting problems test the ladies’ mettle and even their friendship. »
For the premium ticket price of €34, participants will receive balcony seating, champagne on arrival, canapés and champagne during the interval and the choice to reserve a calendar produced by the International Players. They will also have the opportunity to meet the charity team.
